The Big Squeeze (Explicit)
There's an envelope that the mainstream never pushes. One thing that Gums does is sticks to his style weather people like it or not. Ironically, it turnes out to be unique enough combined with talent and recording knowledge that puts this album in the "one of the greats" catagory. Sometimes people are ready for a shift in genre, and it looks like this is one of those moments. The amazing thing about this album, is that it has something for almost everyone to realate to. In the industry it's called a "shotgun album". Producer and beat maker Peter Trees, just back from S.A.E. in Amsterdam, poured on his skills to create this original and bluesy/electronic sound. Winning critic aclaim and opening slots for some of the biggest names is a true indicator of the level of originality and likeablility of this album.
